Under glaze

Today was a day for playing and using techniques that we can use fro our plates. All of which i hadn’t done before. First one was under glazing , by mixing powered glaze with water in order to create a texture like paint which is then painted onto a unglazed plate or any type of ceramic.

This is the example I created. I used the ideas of a memorial wreath in order to create the piece. I think its a really nice finish, however i don’t think its saying  what my story is. But it was good for me to put one of my drawings on actual plate.
